AXA Middle East creates an election to reattribute the employee of the quarter

In order to honor, appreciate and reward our co- workers who showed an exceptional performance on their job during a determined quarter period, AXA Middle East’s board of directors decided to establish a periodic election to reward an employee each quarter.

This initiative of the executive committee aims to stimulate and encourage our co-workers in order for them to embody furthermore the AXA three core attitudes: Being available, reliable and attentive. These attitudes are at the heart of each of our operations in order to serve our clients better.

The final decision is made by a chosen arbitral committee, composed by three AXA Middle East’s senior managers: Mr. Michel Sfeir, (Senior Financial manger), Mr. Nicolas Sioufi (senior marketing manager) and Mr. Elefteri Athanassiou (Senior Manager– Claims Property – Marine and recoveries Department.)

At the end of every year quarter, the members of the executive committee will send a list of potential candidates to the arbitral managers who will submit the name of the winner shortly to the general manager and to the human resources department.

The winning candidate should have filled the following conditions:

  •  An innovating or creative project, resulting in a positive impact for the company
  •  Filling all his ordinary tasks with outstanding efforts and without complaints
  •  Participating in implementing successfully a new work procedure at AXA Middle East.

The employee of the quarter should also demonstrate the following criteria:

  •  Respecting the professional secrecy
  •  Promoting the company’s image
  •  Team spirit and assimilation with the other co-workers
  •  Organization
  •  Knowledge sharing
  •  Entertaining the best of relations with external and internal clients
  •  Respecting work hours

Once the arbitral committee has selected the winning candidate, the result will be announced all AXA Middle East’s co-workers by the communication department. The winner will then receive a symbolic decoration, as well as a material appreciation and an additional day off.

This selection procedure will be applied every three months in order to reattribute all winning initiatives and to motivate the co-workers. AXA Middle East is therefore determined to position itself as the preferred employer in its sector.
